Wallrock Fibreliner (sometimes referred to as Wallrock Lining Paper) is a non-woven material that is most suitable for covering up damaged surfaces quickly with long lasting results. It's best suited for covering and reinforcing problem surfaces, rough and damaged plaster, cracked render, plasterboard, wood panelling and more. What makes it superior to other types of wall lining materials?

  • Very strong, durable and knock resistant material
  • Doesn't shrink or expand
  • No soaking required. Paste the wall or the Wallrock - saves you time
  • Breathable and NO PVC or fibre glass
  • Dry strippable
  • Fire rated (B) - suitable for all BS stipulations regards wallcoverings
  • For best results use Wallrock Power Adhesive - 1 kg covers 5.5 m2

Surface coverage for Wallrock Fibreliner

  • Wallrock Fibreliner 55 cm x 10 m roll - 5.5 m2
  • Wallrock Fibreliner 55 cm x 20 m roll - 11 m2
  • Wallrock Fibreliner 75 cm x 20 m roll - 15 m2
  • Wallrock Fibreliner EXTRA 100 cm x 25 m roll - 25 m2
  • Wallrock Fibreliner 100 cm x 20 m roll - 20 m2

All surfaces must be well prepared prior to hanging wallrock, and when hung it can be emulsion painted, or used as a base for overhanging other wallcoverings. Wallrock is the real alternative to fibreglass lining papers.

Why use Wallrock?

  • Wallrock is the toughest wallcovering you'll ever use. Cellulose-textile fibres allow for extra strength, making Wallrock the obvious choice for those requiring a very durable surface cover
  • Fire rated B1 - suitable for all BS stipulations regards wallcoverings
  • Much faster and easier to hang - you don't need to soak it. Paste the wall and hang it as normal lining paper. It has been specially designed to be quick and easy to use, either to protect good or lightly damaged plaster from wear and tear or as a great way to cover and smooth out rough or damaged plaster
  • Wallrock Fibreliner can be used as a base for paint or overhanging with other wallcoverings. Wallrock Fibreliner is supplied in 55, 75 and 100 cm wide rolls

I am a devotee of wallrock fibreliner. The plaster in my house is at best "past its sell buy". I find it very usefull that it comes in three different widths and use all the sizes when papering a room. Its non-shrinking properties are a definite plus. Very easy to use and whether pasting directly onto the wall or using a paste table be generous with the adhesive. All my trimming is done using a straight edge and stanley knife. Very easy to patch in if required. I have recommended this product to friends who agree with me. I have found that the service offered by Cover Your Wall second to none. Delivery times and communications First Class.I wouldn't use anyone else for this product!

I really like the way wallrock looks Review by Sophie P. Cyprus

bought wallrock 1m width, 20m length from this site and also the wallrock power adhesive. The reason I bought wallrock is because I have cracks in my walls and wanted something that would cover these and hold. I have only just put up the paper so I don’t know if the cracks will show through in the future but I’m very pleased with the current result. The power adhesive was very good according to the people that put up my wallrock fibreliner. It was smooth and not lumpy. 10 kilos lasted for almost 80 sq. m. and not 50 as recommended on the packaging (1 kilo per 5 sq. m.). I am leaving the paper as it is not painting over it or putting up another wallpaper. I really like the way wallrock looks and I’m happy with having my walls off-white. The paper is soft and therefore you can bend it over corners and it will still be smooth. The only down side is that you can’t wash the paper. It’s not plastic. Good site, good service. Very happy with my order. (Posted on 15/09/2015)
I would recommend this product for lining any wall Review by Neil G Shefford

I first used Wallrock fibreliner about 6 years ago when I was decorating a small room which had an exterior wall with extensive hairline cracks due to poor plastering. Previously the bare plaster had been painted many times and despite extensive reaming out and filling of the cracks they always returned. I discovered fibreliner via a search engine and used it on the room. 6 years later there are no signs of the cracks and no movement in the liner. Historically I have used traditional heavy grade paper liner for preparing walls prior to painting and this often shrinks and exposes joins which need to be filled prior to painting and and even then you cannot guarantee that the joins will not reappear over time. With the fibreliner there is no shrinkage so provided it is hung properly joins require minimal attention prior to painting. I would recommend rollering the paint rather than brushing it but do make sure you follow the manufacturers instruction about which side to use for painting. Fibreliner is very tough which helps when using it behind radiators and pipes. I would recommend this product for lining any wall prior to painting whether or not you need to hide any cracks. Additionally I have just used it to line the ceiling of a room in a pre- war house which had a lot of hair line cracking in it and the finish was excellent. It's not the cheapest of liners but it will last a long time and is easy to use.

I have always had an interest in the products used by tradesmen. I am an average person, when it comes to DIY, not an expert but my work could put some to shame. Although I could never make money due to the time I take to get things right. Having the right tools and materials is a must for me. When it comes to having the best of everything, this is not always possible as like most families I am restricted by budget. Your web site allowed me to purchase a superior product compared to what I could have got from the local DIY shop, This was because your products were a lot cheaper, although I could not afford the top insulation rolls these were still £20. cheaper than other places. I hate computers, your web site was easy to use. Buying was easy. Delivery was very quick and efficient. The products I purchased, the Fibreliner and paste were excellent, I even took off cuts to work to show people. The adhesive paste was strong and left no air bubbles underneath. I used the same paste to hang my normal rolls of wall paper and I am very proud of the results. The Fibreliner is a great product. It wont cover big bumps but cracks and other defects were more than sufficiently covered. It left a lovely finish that I could have painted but my wife had the final say and I had to put some wall paper over the top. That went on great, bonded extremely well with the Fibreliner. It does go up easy and the variety of widths helps speed up the process for those that do not like decorating. This also meant very little waste so again value for money. This product was worth every penny and I would use it every time now as it out performs standard lining paper. As a first time user of this product I was worried it may not be as good as the sales pitch said, lucky for me it turned out far better than I could have imagined. Thank you for providing an excellent service and the high quality products. (Posted on 15/09/2015)

Excellent service from Coveryourwall. Fibreliner 55, 75 & 100, applied using Wallrock Power Adhesive. All great to work with. Used roller to apply paste to wall, then hung precut sheets of Wallrock. Ignore ‘Apply paper to pasted wall straight from roll’. There may be situations where this may work, but 1.0m x 20m roll is heavy, unwieldy & impossible on stairwell, and when approaching corners! Power Adhesive is the first wallpaper paste I’ve used where I’ve achieved the coverage claimed for it.

Product Review I found wallrock thermal quite easy to use, particularly as the paste is applied to the wall. It was too awkward to hang it from the roll, so I just cut lengths and hung those. You do need very strong sharp scissors or knife to cut it. The thermal liner adhesive was effective, but would be easier to use from a tub rather than the courier-friendly packaging (CYW comment - this packaging is no longer used).

The paper gave a very good finish on my rough cracked walls. I used wallrock fibreliner to cover wallrock thermal. Very easy to use as the paste is applied to the wall. Best of all it didnt stretch or bubble and gave a beautifully smooth finish. I shan't use ordinary lining paper again. (Posted on 15/09/2015)
