I've used coveryourwall for quite a few years and I'm very happy with the service I've received. Even when couriers fail, these guys sort things out quickly.

The courier had damaged the package got in contact with seller dealt with courteously and efficiently solved the problem and replaced goods would recommend them without hesitation.

I was quite surprised to see that I could pay on coveryourwall using my Amazon account - I didn't know I could pay like that! I even called to make sure. wallrock rolls arrived next day as promised..

Wallrock Thermal Liner Adhesive has been designed specifically to work with Wallrock Thermal Liner, Wallrock R300, Wallrock KV600 Thermal Liner and Insulating Lining Papers. The paste is made up of two components. Firstly there is a viscous paste which is designed to be smooth, easy to roll and drip-resistant, which holds the liners in place, but allows the product sheets to slide for perfect matching at the seams. Secondly there are polymers added to increase the bond strength of the final adhesive layer and give the adhesion its permanency. Both components used are water based and the paste component is made from starch, which is ecologically friendly. Recommended adhesive paste for Wallrock Thermal Liners.

  • Each 10kg of the adhesive is sufficient for a minimum of 2 rolls of Wallrock Thermal Liner, 1 roll of KV600 Thermal Liner, 1 roll of Wallrock R300 Liner and 4 to 5 rolls of Insulating Lining Paper. Please note that the usage may differ based on the absorbtion of the walls
  • Please refer to Sound Insulation Liners for exact usage
  • It's water based and the paste compound is made from starch making it ecologically friendly
  • The high viscosity gives extra grip and is perfect for hanging wallcoverings in difficult places such as stairs and ceilings
  • The additional polymers mean that it is ideal for use where you require a wallcovering to be long lasting, and also resistant to mould, so ideal for damp rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms

Not as easy to apply as I hoped Review by Tim
Ease of use

I used this as recommended with Professional Insulation Panels, the 7mm polystyrene panels. First I used a roller, a deep pile roller as specified, to coat the clean, painted, flat surfaced wall. It seemed to go on fine, but was not a hugely thick coat.

I offered up the panel, pressed it firmly into place, and found it wasn't interested in sticking. Taking the panel off I saw that there was poor contact between the panel and the adhesive, so I re-rollered the wall (the coat did not thicken) and then roller that back f the panel, reasoning that it would find the places that hadn't made contact before.

After insisting that it went into position it appeared that the glue coat had been thick enough to "take" and that the panel had made full surface contact.

No.

Parts of the panel, even when pressed into pace released themselves from the wall.

I persevered with further panels. I have an evil set of spaces in a built in wardrobe fitting panels round the shelves. Some panels are perfect, others are held in place by willpower.

The glue is stated to have filler and polymer and all sorts of fine stuff in to, and I'm sure it has, but it didn't seem to enjoy sticking these panels.

Ok, its my first time doing this job. I have no need to treat other places, so the expertise(!) I have gained is now useless, but I get the feeling this is a guy to be trowelled into place with a slotted trowel, rather than roller applied. Why? Because I could not get it what I believe to be sufficiently thickly coated.

Of course, I could be wrong. (Posted on 12/01/2018)
